Getting started
Writing great prompts
How to describe apps so builder77 nails them on the first try.
Good prompts are specific about who the app is for, what they do in it, the data it stores, and the feel you want.
A simple formula
[App type] for [audience] called [name].
Users can [main actions]. It stores [data].
Screens: [list]. Style: [adjectives, colors, references].Examples
Weak: "make a todo app"
Strong: "A shared to-do app for couples called Duo. Both partners sign in and see the same lists (Groceries, Home, Weekend). Items have a due date and who's responsible. Show a 'done this week' counter. Playful, rounded, pastel colors."
Tips
- Start with the core flow, then add features one message at a time. Small steps give better results than one giant request.
- Name your data. "Save each order with items, total and status" tells builder77 exactly which collection and fields to create.
- Use Select for visual tweaks — it's more precise than describing where something is.
- Attach a screenshot of a design you like (drag it into the chat or paste it).
- Use Discuss mode to plan bigger changes before building them.
- Hit "Enhance prompt" on the dashboard to expand a rough idea into a detailed spec.
- If something breaks, the chat shows an error banner — click Fix with AI.
